Construction Manager / Site Senior Executive (SSE)

WA Gold Project | Owner's Team | Immediate Requirement

A WA gold producer is entering a critical phase of project execution and is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / SSE to provide site leadership during plant construction.

This is not a corporate project management role.

The focus is on safe execution, contractor performance, construction sequencing, statutory accountability and ensuring the project is delivered to plan in a live mining environment.

The Role

Reporting into the Project Director, you will take responsibility for site-based construction leadership across a significant mineral processing project.

You will work closely with contractors, owner's team personnel and operational stakeholders to ensure construction activities are safely executed, properly coordinated and aligned with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visible construction leadership across the site
• Manage contractor performance and site execution activities
• Maintain strong safety, quality and environmental standards
• Coordinate construction interfaces across multiple disciplines
• Drive schedule performance and construction readiness
• Support commissioning and transition planning activities
• Liaise with regulators, stakeholders and project leadership
• Fulfil Site Senior Executive responsibilities where required
• Ensure compliance with WA mining legislation and site management systems

About You

We are interested in speaking with proven construction leaders who have delivered major mining, mineral processing or heavy industrial projects.

You will ideally bring:

• Construction Manager, Site Manager or Project Manager experience
• WA mining construction experience
• Mineral processing plant or major industrial project experience
• Strong contractor management capability
• Demonstrated leadership of large multi-disciplinary workforces
• Sound commercial awareness
• Statutory mining experience including SSE, S26 or equivalent responsibilities highly regarded
• Ability to operate effectively within an owner's team environment
