About the role

Muldrew Heavy Haulage Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Yard Person/ Delivery Driver to join our team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining the organisation's premises and equipment, ensuring the efficiency and safety of our transport operation.

What you'll be doing

1. Organising and maintaining the transport yard, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly stored and accessible

2. Assisting with the loading and unloading of transport vehicles, freight, including using forklifts and other machinery

3. Operating light and heavy vehicles to collect parts and transport to customer's mine sites - Ad hoc

4. Performing basic maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the yard, equipment and facilities in good working order

5. Supporting the logistics team by tracking inventory and preparing documentation

6. Collaborating with the wider team to identify and implement improvements to yard operations

What we're looking for

1. Ideally mechanically minded and previous experience

2. Forklift Ticket and experience preferred

3. Minimum C Class Licence, preferrable HC Licence

4. Load restraint experience preferred

5. Strong organisational and time management skills

6. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety

7. Good communication and teamwork abilities

Requirements to apply

• Current Drivers License

• Ability to pass a Medical + Drug and Alcohol Screen

• Possessing Australian Working Rights

• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance within the last 12 months
