About the Role

As the Processing Plant Trainer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, delivering, and assessing training programs for processing plant personnel ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations

• Building workforce capability across all aspects of gold processing operations

• Maintain accurate training records, training matrices, and competency registers

• Ensure training and assessment comply with Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 & site-specific safety systems

• Participate in continuous improvement - supporting management team to identify training needs and skill gaps across the processing department

Skills & experience

Essential:

• Extensive and demonstrated experience in processing operations across multiple processing plants, and gold mining

• Proven background in training or mentoring operation personnel withing a processing environment

• Comprehensive understanding of gold processing circuits and metallurgical principals

• Excellent computer literacy skills and strong communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to engage learners of all levels

• Previous experience in remote or FIFO mining operations

Desirable:

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)

• Experience using INX software, specifically InTuition

• Experience as a Shift Supervisor in fixed plant gold processing operations
