Residential Security Officer based in Kambalda

Full-Time | Residential or DIDO - Kambalda Based

EON Protection is a trusted provider of security solutions across Western Australia. We are currently seeking a professional, reliable and experienced Security Officers local to Kambalda. Only local residents of Kambalda need apply.

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Security Officer is required.

About the Role

Working a 7/7 roster, the successful candidate will play a key role in securing villages,mine sites and tavern as well as providing emergency response . This role requires independence, vigilance, and professionalism across a wide range of duties, including:

• Conducting perimeter patrols and access control at key entry/exit points

• Performing Drug and Alcohol testing as required

• Maintaining detailed daily activity logs and incident reports

• Identifying and reporting safety or operational risks

• Ensuring a professional presence and upholding EON standards

• Supporting the broader security team and working autonomously when needed

Pay & Conditions

• Award Coverage: Security Services Industry Award

• Classification: Level 4

• Base Rate: As per Award (Level 4) – including all applicable loadings and penalties for shift, weekend, and public holiday work

• First Aid Allowance paid in addition to base rate

• Rosters: 7/7 (Lifestyle Roster), Tuesday to Tuesday

• Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing

• Potential earnings up to $100,000 (circa) + $1,000 sign on BONUS!

What We're Looking For

To be considered, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Be a Kambalda resident

• Cert II Security Operations & Crowd Control

• Current and valid WA Security Officer License & crowd control

• C class Driver's License (essential)

• HLTPAT005 - Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing

• RSA - Responsible service of alcohol

• White card for any operations or work areas under construction

• Current First Aid Certificate and current CPR

• High level of situational awareness with the ability to assess risk and respond appropriately

• Proficient in basic computer and reporting systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Physically capable of performing duties over extended periods

• Background in Military, Law Enforcement, or Specialist Security (advantageous)
